Don't light up fireworks - donate money to treat children with cancerUser's  Tallinna Kesklinna Valitsus project in the category Civic initiative

Tallinn City Central Government administration invites city residents not to do or organize private fireworks and donate money for the purchase of pyrotechnics to treat children with cancer.

Unfortunately, always doing the necessary security requirements while performing fireworks does not endanger the health of people, not to mention the increase in the likelihood of fires.  Every year, a lot of people, often children, are mistaken in using pyrotechnics due to misuse. Also, fireworks arranged at residential buildings create stress in domestic animals.

Therefore, the Tallinn centre City District, together with the Rescue Board's North Rescue Center, calls for the refusal to organize private fireworks and donate its money to the Tallinn Children's Hospital Support Fund.

It is a charity fund aimed at bringing the best possible medical care to a children's hospital. The money raised under the campaign launched will be used to treat cancer patients. Donations can be made from today through the co-funder's Holder at http://www.hooandja.ee/.

The city center's elder confirms, better donate money to the Childrens Support Fund than spent money for fireworks.

"We invite all city residents to celebrate the arrival of the New Year in Vabaduse Square, where the concert take place and the President of the Republic of Estonia will be having yearly speech  . The 100th anniversary of the welcome of the Republic of Estonia is organized by the City Center with the Estonian National Broadcasting and the EV100.

The money collected through the accountant will be transferred to the account of the Tallinn Children's Hospital Support Fund in its entirety.
