Meigikoolitus.ee online beauty school is an environment and community that is available to all beauty enthusiasts regardless of their location and regardless of what is happening in the world. It is a place where learning takes place at its own pace exactly where and when it is convenient for the clients.

 

Meigikoolitus.ee online school is modern and exceptional because for the first time in the history of Estonia, all women and also men have the opportunity to learn how beauty professionals actually achieve wonderful results - the ones you see in ads, films, magazines, photo series etc. Until now, only professionals have been able to acquire such knowledge by studying for many years, if not a lifetime, and through intensive work experience.
 

 

Meigikoolitus.ee's programs simply and effectively bring together everything needed for successful knowledge acquisition - tools, products, quantities and order of products, the best makeup techniques and, in addition, practices for maintaining valuable tools. All materials are accompanied by step-by-step detailed visuals to make it as clear and easy as possible for you to be your own professional make-up artist and beautician. Each course starts with a classic "before" and "after" view, so that it is instantly clear how to get from zero to a hundred. The materials are compiled in PDF easy-to-read format illustrated with pictures, so that every beauty enthusiast can follow everything at their own pace.
 

 

Now I invite you to contribute to the development of this unique beauty school! Although a lot work has already been done, more hard work is yet to come. In order for the environment to be as user-friendly as possible, easy to find and to be acessible in several languages, I need your help.

Hello, I am Monika Tustanovski - the creator, heart, unquenchable passion and teacher of Meigikoolitus.ee online school.

I found my way to professonal makeup quite late, in my early 30s, but it was absolutely love at first brush stroke! Quickly it became clear that the previous journey in the IT field was coming to an end due to a newly-found passion, and my heart belonged to the world of beauty.

Over the years, I have participated in many different projects:

For example, the TV shows Rakett69, Aasta Säravaimad Tähed, Noor Meister have always been close to my heart. Or Rain Rannu's full-length feature film Child Machine, which has just been screened in cinemas, with PÖFF closing ceremony where I did the artists' makeup. The legendary Tallinn Fashion Week has led me to work with Liina Stein, Perit Muuga and Piret Kuresaar. Together with several excellent photographers we have photographed both the NATO and the Lennusadam teams. And especially close to my heart are events with big beautiful goals in the form of various conferences such as the Vaimse Tervise Mess or Suurseminar "Südametee ja hingelood".

All these projects, both big and small, have led me to do makeup for many many hundreds of women and men in every age group. Over the years, my customers have always had the same questions - how to achieve a flawless, simple, natural make-up, how to take care of the skin most effectively, how to best take care their hair, which products to use, where to buy everything. It was these questions that inspired me to create Meigikoolitus.ee beauty school. All questions and more will be answered on the Meigikoolitus.ee platform. Having taught and guided make-up artists, I can see firsthand how it is best and easiest to convey beauty-specific information, knowledge and experience. Come, let's learn and develop together!

Goals and their planned completion timeline
 

• Adding the local market's most common payment solutions to the school's online platform

Expected completion June 2023 - 1000eur

Although courses can be purchased at the moment, the currently existing solution is not convenient and due to the limitations of the platform, the formalization of the purchase is in English, which is sure to cause a lot of confusion for the customer and does not inspire trust. The current payment solution requires the presence of a credit card, which works, but we in Estonia are used to other solutions (e.g. Maksekeskus).
 

• Development of a more user-friendly platform for the online school, which provides more flexibility for customers, students and the administrator

Expected completion June 2023 - 8000eur

Although the current web environment is beautiful and eye-catching, there is still a lot of work to be done with the functionalities. The currently used solution (wix.com) does not provide much opportunities to adapt the process and materials exactly as needed without the constant help of a developer. Therefore we need to undertake a large but extremely necessary job - to move to another platform (shopify.com or voog.com) and refine absolutely every step there to be as simple, convenient and functional as possible. One very big concern on the current platform is the lack of local payment options and unfortunately it is not possible to add these options. This great work is especially necessary considering the interests of customers and students.
 

• Localization of the web into bilingual - Estonian content needs updates and then the school will get a new language: English

In the Republic of Estonia, the state language is Estonian, but in our culture there are also many beauty enthusiasts who prefer to study in English instead or sometimes English is much more convenient. Therefore, the learning environment together with the course materials needs to be translated into an additional language and implemented online. By translating it into English, we pave the way to conquer the world, because the big dream is to spread the school and its programs on the international landscape.
 

• Localization of the web into three languages - In addition to the official language of the country and one international language, one more language that is most common in the country will be added: Russian

Expected completion September 2023 - 2000eur

Russian is also widely spoken in the Republic of Estonia, so this language cannot be left out. The aim of the school is to reach everyone and offer education comfortably in several languages.

I also invite all backers to test the learning materials and give feedback through an objective eye regarding both the materials and the online environment. Every contribution is absolutely precious!

Whether it is a gift in a form of  "Fragments of trainings" or a whole program, I'm waiting for your feedback! Since the school is still brand new, we have not yet received feedback from objective eyes and this would be an invaluable nuance in the entire Hooandja campaign.
