NORD LIGHTS is a musical group that treats you with crisp nordic sounds and a sensitive game of rhythm and timbre, creating blends of mystical tunes. The listeners can try to catch the Northern Lights, the starry night sky and deep space in the group's music. The original works contain both instrumental pieces as well as songs in both Estonian and English. The influences have come from jazz, rock, fusion and electronic music.
Nord Lights has been playing together for almost four years. During this time, two singles have been released - "Lend" and "Faithstone". The band has performed at various events and festivals such as the "Uue Maailma Festival" and "Tudengijazz". In 2017, they were finalist at "Noortebänd" and have been recognized multiple times in the Uno Naissoo composition and interpretation competition.

The music born in the last six months is full of lightness, dreaming and inspiration, as well as thoughtfulness and deep conversations within ourselves. Above all, however, the sounds carry empowering and hopeful emotions.
Music is magic for us and we want to share it with you, dear friend. We are happy to say that the recording process is going great and our musical ideas are forming well. We are excited to have the album reach its listeners in the spring of 2022. We are grateful for all of your support!
Our goal is to gather half of the total amount in 22 days: 2250 euros. This helps us to finish the recording process, including the final processing of the music. The other half of the total amount supports the design and production of the record and the organization of the album release concert.
