The Green House Cafe, in the heart of Viljandi has been in existence for nearly 15 years and has always been THE place to meet. People from many wakes of life, business people, artists, musicians come here, to wash down a bun with some tea or with a cup of delicious coffee which some claim to be the best in town ... and the cinnamon rolls which got written up in the New York Times as being the best this reporter had tasted anywhere. If you're hungry, yes there is a hearty breakfast or lunch waiting and it's organic.

The quiet and friendly atmosphere helps to unlock the inner me and release those pent up creative juices ... from time to time.

It's not unusual to see the same faces several times a day. So hard to stay away.

Now, however, we have run into a sort of situation. The roof is in dire need of repair. Being that the house is old and in the historic part of town, there are historical society requirements that make the roof quite costly. Our own resources alone are not sufficient and we turn to you dear friends for a little push start unless you enjoy a little rain water in your coffe.

And yes, there are rewards. We have thought of a few ways to show you our appreciation.
